Founded in January 2000, The Artists' Attic is a venue for the local talents of Harlan County to display their work. The Attic combines viewing galleries with a working studio, allowing the public to watch artists as they work, in addition to browsing the every changing exhibits. Offering workshops and classes to both young and old, the Artists’ Attic nurtures the creative juices that flow through Appalachian Kentucky.
